Geographic Information System (Addressing)
The Will County 9-1-1 GIS Department maintains all of the Geofile data for the CAD System, creates maps for our PSAP, police and fire agencies.
About Barbara
Barbara was born and raised in Will County and came to the office with more than 15 years of Will County mapping experience.
She leads a team of two GIS Specialists, Krista and Amy. The department works with wireless entities, agencies, MSAG, US Postal Service, assigns addresses to the unincorporated areas of Will County, other county offices and the 9-1-1 State Coordinator. Together the three of us supply our PSAPs and Agencies with the GIS data needed for our CAD/Mapping/Records System.

About Krista
Krista was hired in March of 2013 as a GIS Specialist.
Her responsibilities include maintaining, updating and manipulating various CAD layers that make up the 911 system. She prepares digital and hard copy maps to agencies and vendors, assists in creating dashboards on the Will County 911 HUB site and helps maintain the Master Street Address Guide.
