Records/Reporting
The Records/Reporting Division is responsible for all aspects of reporting as it pertains to EMS, Fire and Law records and reporting needs while also building PSAP and agency specific statistical reports in various reporting software.
There are 26 law enforcement agencies and 27 fire agencies being dispatched between the 3 centers. All of the information about their calls is stored and can be reported in various formats for the agencies. Anything from how many accidents occurred at a certain intersection last year to how many hazmat calls a firefighter has been on in the past year. Agencies also have the option to have reports automatically emailed to them as often as they wish.
We are the first line of support for medics, fire personnel, police officers and agency records clerks that have questions/problems with their software.
The Law Records Management System is a shared records database.
Currently there are 26 law enforcement agencies entering data into Motorola Premier One Records, along with additional agencies having query capability. As agencies respond to Calls for Service, report data feeds into the PremierOne Records. As the agency enters data, any other user within the system is then able to query that information (name, location, report number, etc) and see most information pertaining to that query. The only information currently not shared amongst the agencies is narrative information.
This program also allows for export to report Illinois UCR and Illinois Racial Profiling.
