New Address Assignment and Verification

Before filling out either the new address assignment application or the address verification form, make sure you’ve got:

  • A copy of the current property deed (or recorded document number) and a certified site plan showing the layout of where the building is to be erected
  • The property tax number (parcel number), ex. 00-00-00-000-000-0000
  • Information on the property’s current zoning

Normally, each address assignment requires an on-site visit from County personnel. Please provide complete details as to the exact location for the address specified.

The address is available 10 working days after your application is received by the 9-1-1 Administration Office. We may also mail, fax, or email the address to you if you so request on the form.
