Training

The Training department is responsible for administering the Will County 9-1-1 System’s Minimum Training Standards. This includes the scheduling dispatch personnel into training and payment of approved training.

In addition, this department maintains training records for all dispatch personnel in the Will County 9-1-1 System to insure compliance with the Minimum Training Standard and EMD licensure.

About Scott

Scott began working with the Will County Emergency Telephone System in 2019.  Scott started his work in the field in 2005 when he became a Firefighter/EMT and eventually went on to become a Paramedic.  Before coming to the Will County Emergency Telephone System, Scott worked as a 911 Dispatcher at ECOM in Cook County.  Scott also worked for Silver Cross EMS System for 11 years handling various components of the EMS system.  Scott is a certified EMS Educator through the National Association of EMS Educators. 

Scott also works as a Lieutenant/Paramedic for the NorthWest Homer Fire Protection District.
