About Wesley
Wes has worked for the Will County 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System since November of 2009. His responsibilities as being the Network Systems Manager include the future vision and the administration of mission critical 9-1-1 communication services in collaboration with the Chief Administrator. He is also responsible for the oversight of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of many of the systems in various degrees for all the PSAPS’s, Police Departments and Fire Departments in our 9-1-1 system within the Network Systems Department Staff. He also serves as one of the after hours support technicians.
Previously to working for Will County 9-1-1, He was employed by the Romeoville Police Department for 4 years as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher. In addition to his regular duties he was also on a specialized team called TERT (Telecommunications Emergency Response Team), and he was also a Certified Trainer.
In his education background he has received a Bachelor’s of Science (Network and Communications Management) from DeVry University and an Associates in Applied Science (Computer Networking Technologist) from Joliet Junior College in 2008. He is certified from Intrado for Viper Installation, Configuration and System Troubleshooting. He continues to further his education and training by taking other I.T and mission critical 9-1-1 related courses.

About Durell
Durell has worked for Will County 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System since July, 2019 after working here as a contracted employee for 6 months. His responsibilities as being the Senior Support Technician include installation, configuration, trouble-shooting, and administration of the myriad of systems in various degrees for all the PSAPS’s, Police departments, and Fire departments within the 9-1-1 system in conjunction with the Network Systems Department Staff. He also serves as one of the after hours support technicians
Previous to working for Will County 9-1-1, he was employed with Special Education Services for 20 years as a Information Technology Manager where he did administration, installation, and configuration for their network infrastructure, systems, and served as a Behavior Modification Specialist. Along with his information technology duties he trained staff in technology, developed curriculum, and supported/trained in Crisis Intervention Behavior Stabilization (CIBS).
In his educational background he has received a Bachelor’s of Science (Information Technology) and a Associates in Science (Computer Systems) at University of Phoenix. He continues to develop his education, training, and professional development by taking I.T. and mission critical related courses.
Durell Gaston

About Duane
Duane has worked for the Will County 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System since December 2019. His responsibilities as part of the Network Systems Staff include installation, oversight, configuration and troubleshooting of its systems in various degrees for all the PSAPS’s, Police Departments and Fire Departments in our 9-1-1 system. He also serve as one of the after hours support technicians.
Duane has over 20 years of IT experience in various roles from help desk to system administration and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University in Industrial Technology with a concentration in electronics and a minor in Business Administration.

About Ryan
Ryan has worked for the Will County 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System since February 2021. Originally part of the Operations Helpdesk, he was promoted into Network Systems as a Senior Support Specialist in May of 2023.
His responsibilities as being a Senior Support Specialist include installation, configuration, trouble-shooting, and administration of the myriad of systems in various degrees for all the PSAPS’s, Police departments, and Fire departments within the 9-1-1 system in conjunction with the rest of the Network Systems Department Staff. In addition to his regular duties, Ryan also serves as a Communications Unit Leader (COML) and Communications Unit Technician (COMT).
He also serves as one of the after hours support technicians
Ryan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with focus areas in software development and mathematics, as well as 2 awards in Web Development.
